Government provides Electronic System for Online Registration of the SESMT Team
Ordinance of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security No. 2,318, of 08/03/2022, published in the Federal Official Gazette on 08/12/2022, which approved the new wording of NR-4 determined that the registration provided for in item 4.6 be carried out via electronic system:
4.6 Registration
4.6.1 The organization must register the SESMT referred to in this NR through an electronic system available on the gov.br portal.
With that, an electronic system was made available by the Government for Brazilian companies to carry out the registration of Specialized Services in Occupational Safety and Medicine (SESMT), of Regulatory Standard No. 4 (NR-4).
As of 01/02/2023, all companies must re-register their SESMT team in the new tool on the Gov.br portal.
It will be necessary to inform and keep updated the following data, according to item 4.6.1.1:
4.6.1.1 The organization must inform and keep the following data up to date:
a) Individual Taxpayer Registration Number – CPF of professionals who are part of SESMT;
b) qualification and registration number of professionals;
c) degree of risk established, according to item 4.5.1 and its sub-items and the number of workers assisted, per establishment; It is
d) working hours of SESMT professionals.

No entanto, muitos casos são assintomáticos nas fases iniciais, o que torna o diagnóstico precoce ainda mais importante. A recomendação médica é que, a partir dos 50 anos, homens realizem exames anuais de toque retal e dosagem de PSA (Antígeno Prostático Específico). Para aqueles com histórico familiar da doença, recomenda-se iniciar o acompanhamento a partir dos 45 anos.
